Locker Room Remodel Project

Axemen Home
The South Eugene football team needs your help to upgrade the locker room facilities. South Eugene was built in 1953 and few upgrades and changes have been made since (please see a couple photos below). The first phase of the renovation project will be to replace the small, rusted out lockers, with thirty 24-inch wide wooden lockers.

The Locker Sponsorship Program was initiated to offset the costs of this project as well as to help perpetuate the tradition and history of the 56 years of Axemen football. All Axemen Football Alumni are encouraged to take a place of honor in the new locker room by “sponsoring” a locker through a gift or pledge of $400 (platinum). Sponsorship will include a plaque displayed with the alum’s name, position, and years of participation on a locker. A plaque with a picture of the sponsored locker will be sent to each participating alumni. With a pledge of $250 (Gold) alumni will have their name etched on a plaque with other alumni on a wall inside the locker room. With a pledge of $100 (Silver) alumni will have their name painted on a “Thank You To Our Sponsors” wall inside the locker room. All participants will be recognized at a football game, in the football program, and will receive a t-shirt.

Due to the current financial situation our district is facing, they have cut all funding towards improvement projects. Our annual stipend of $7,500 from the district for equipment is also being shrunk. There are conversations about cutting extracurricular activities all together. Our program survives on support from people like you. We appreciate any support you can give, as we are aware of the tough financial situation many families are facing.
