Churchill Lancers 7

Ken Morrow Field
Logan Beal and Josh Tobar each scored three touchdowns for the Axemen as they played a traditional crosstown rival in the Churhill Lancers. Tobar rushed for 155 yards on 20 carries. Beal threw for one touchdown, ran 38 yards for another, and returned an interception 25 yards for a third.
Once again the only score against the Axemen defense came late in the game as the younger players gained some valuable experience. The Axemen intercepted Churchill's star quarterback, Andrew Schumacher four times and held the Lancers to 53 yards rushing.
